Do you own the land between your house and the ocean view or could someone else conceivably buy it and build on it?

What is the water/sewer/power situation on this property?
Water is connected to city potable water, has a septic tank and system (all recently emptied and cleaned), power is connected to SAESA electric company.

No. The ocean is across the road and there is a thin strip of land that has a new house on it. The ocean can be accessed by simply walking across the road or driving 1 km approx and there is a parking area with a sand beach. Or Chaihuin is 20km away that has endless sand beaches and dunes.

There is a property that is before the public ocean front that has a house on it. The house in front is not directly on the ocean

If the thin strip of land has a new house on it, what will stop another new house from being built on this thin strip of land and blocking your view?

The house is located on a higher spot of the property meaning they would have to take down the existing (very nice) house and put some really tall building there (which is highly unlikely because it has just enough space for a house without much room for expansion. But even then from the shape of the lands there will always be an ocean view because there are not many areas that can be built on in front of the house. The ocean can be viewed from the 3 bedrooms, living room, and dining room as well as the cabaña. Where the green house is located there is a spot to put another cabaña at a higher spot that has a fantastic view.
