I have been in country for about eight months now and I am beginning to have SERIOUS withdrawal symptoms: does anyone know if canned Hatch green chilies are available in Santiago?

Well, fresh would be better, but in a pinch.... My pinch is getting bigger.

Here in the USA I buy bottled hatch salsa. Hatch chile’s are very good and tasty.

Have you tried local Peruvian green salsa from huacatay and aji [edit] chiles? Not the same but also a tasty green salsa, if you can’t get hatch. It is good on buttered bread.
