Some suprising (or maybe not) news Evo Morales has resigned and Bolivia is holding fresh elections.

On a plane to Argentina, the military "suggested" it might be good for him to go

In the end it was the Military who "resolved" the crisis. The guys with the guns were the final arbiters, not that they are necessarily the good guys either....

Interesting to compare the Bolivian protesters with what we see here. More Adults, especially working-class, no Schoolkids or Santiago-type hipsters either. Or Anarchists.

all power flows from the barrel of a gun, just be careful which direction the power comes out. sometimes they blow up in your face.

so anyone want to bet on how our competing revolutions turn out?

I am betting on chile, because no matter how bad the chilean one turns out it still probably will not be as nearly as screwed up as Bolivia is right now.

Mexico is closer to his banking in the Cayman Islands, practical not rude, and he can plan his triumphant return.......like Castro did from Mexico......why didn't he go to Cuba, maybe he really doesn't like socialism..... it was just a way to steal money....he could have also joined his buddy in Venezuela, but probably thought his days are numbered so why bother.

Well this is an interesting development from Bolivias new leader, cutting relations with Venezuela and expelling Venezuelan embassy staff, blaming Cuba and Venezuela for meddling in Bolivia.

Yup, starting with ousting corrupt Left wing dictators, which is what Evo was effectively after flouting his own constitution going for a third term , then rigging the election results to try for a forth time .
