tourist visa reniew

Post by chia_95 » Wed Oct 30, 2019 9:34 am

Hi guy, my tourist visa will expire at the end of the month so I wanted to renew but it is hard to make an appointment to the PDI extranjeria. So I am considering a fast trip to Mendoza to restart gain the 90 days. Since the flights are more expensive, I am planning to take a bus. In this case, can I have the " renew" of the tourist visa at the border? or there are chances that I won't be controlled and not obtained the renewal of my visa ?
Thank you very much

At the border it is not a renew it is receiving a new tourist visa.

But others have heard that visa runs aren't as easy as the past as the PDI now asks more questions and can limit the new one to less than 90 days at their whim.

Please report back on your experience.

You check out of the country hand over your tourist card.....drink eat steak for a time in Argielandia then return, at the border you get another tourist card and start another 90 days. Let us know if w how it goes.....
