Not really an argument or debate I like to engage in, but since its posted here and has it happened someone bought abortion topic up the other day at a dinner, after more than a few wines and we all knew each other.
His argument was , if it's a womans right to choose and the man doesn't want her to have an abortion, where are his rights ? Or is that not taken into account?
So if we follow that logic if she is free to abort without the mans consent then the opposite senario is true, if she wants to keep the child and he doesn't, then does that mean he doesn't have to pay child support? Not likely.
As for the BBC article, yeah that has been the case for most things in Chile, public system doesn't give you many options, if you have the money pop up town and the private cuico clinics will help you out as soon as you walk in the door, nothing to do with morals or consiencious objections it all comes down to your money and contacts , it is what it is.
I can't decide for you. You'll have to make up your own mind.
