not sure I agree with everything, or at chile has a ways to go, but it is definitely better than most countries' handling of disasters.

Chile has the big three in spades.....earthquake, tsunami and volcanic eruptions.....but they really export the volcanic events to Argentina.

Chile should seek monetary compensation for all the high quality ash they dump on Argentina creating wonderfully fertile soils in the Pampas, I guess that would be a long line to get into.....
It's all about the wine.
