I wonder how long Trump's secret service detail is going to hesitate to take a bullet for the wanker that did not sign their pay check.
According to the constitution (I know, I know) Congress pays the bills. Let's just forget about the 535 representatives and senators not doing their jobs. I bet they are still getting paid.

yea, never mind that little ammendment that did something crazy like outlawing slavery.

i don't know why anyone is suprised. Trump has a long history of stiffing workers for their pay.

Trump bankruptsy number 5 (think he has 4 priors) is going to be the best bankruptsy ever.

I don't watch the news so maybe someone can tell me whether the House of Representatives has passed a spending bill that's pending in the Senate, or waiting for signature.

Not sure what sent back means. According to congress.gov there has not been a veto since 2016 by Obama.

Congressional Republicans don't have a strong record of doing what Trump wants. Why is all of Congress on vacation?

I have to admit that I worry more about what BigGov does than what it does not.

reconcilliation of a senate bill i believe. the vote they are refusing to have though is, a vote about voting.

yea no one seems to have noticed the thousands of "procedural rules" that now exit that negate the constitution. once upon a time, a member of congress had one vote per seat. now they only get to vote if they vote the right way, due to the "rules"; and no one knows what they are voting on, or who inserted it in to the bill.

so here is also a knock-on effect of the shutdown that does not get covered much in the media: contractors.

estimates are an additional 4.1 million u.s. gov contractors are not getting paid, and they typicaly don't get compensated for the shutdown. so that is 4.9 million people mas o menos not being paid.

One is to believe what isn't true;

the other is to refuse to believe what is true.

Read in the news that DOJ said to those not getting paid, go to unemployment office and collect on the insurance. After Trumpster re-opens the govnmnt and receiving its due salaries then can return paid unemployment back to the treasury ... Go figure that out ?

let's see if i can get this formula right.

number of workers laid-off × $2,000,00 average wrongful termination lawsuit = 100,000,000,0000,00000000000000000000 deficit (sorry the u.s. gov can not afford anymore comas).

that 80% is there because it was too expensive to eliminate them in the first place.

Why is that Democrats just denying " wall budget " petition from Trumpster? Every meeting, the Pres, asks the question, do you give me the wall? But Pelosi just answers NO. Why not debate the necessity of such wall? Last meeting, heard Trumpster just got off and left the place, vociferating such as...fu....ing Demo, just wasting my time!
