capital gains tax on stocks and ETF's sold in US brokerage account

Post by thisisreallycomplicated » Sat Sep 08, 2018 10:52 pm

Does anyone here know if capital gains are taxed in Chile, for stocks or ETF's sold in a US brokerage account? I've read that capital gains are generally taxed here as normal income, but that's just the general rule, and there are exemptions. My accountant said no, but I want to make sure before I do some trading. Thanks.
