Has anyone here used Viabox to ship from U.S. to Chile?

Post by rasmataz » Sun Apr 22, 2018 4:05 pm

Living here in the south of Chile, I tend to use a lot of outdoor equipment and clothing in the winter. Unfortunately, some of these manufacturers either do not ship to Chile or have distribution agreements with a company here in Chile that prevents the item to be shipped to Chile.

I was looking at alternative shipping methods that have forwarders that will allow me to use a U.S. address that will then ship to Chile for a fee. One of these companies was Viabox. Has anyone here had any experience with this company and how would you rate it?

Any other suggestions would be appreciated.

I have used them previously to ship some items to Santiago and I had a good experience. Everything arrived in a good condition and it took about a week to be delivered. Make sure that you use their calculator to check the shipping fees beforehand, their prices are based on the size and weight of the items, so you may be in for a surprise if you intend to ship something large.
