IT Datacenters in southern Chile - pro hot/cold aisle

Post by mem » Fri Mar 30, 2018 10:26 pm

I know there are a lot of pro IT guys on the forum

I am looking for high end datacenter options and costing for building a disaster recovery presence for a primary datacenter in north america

Im looking at like 10 40u cabinets, each with redundant 20a or 30a circuits. Id have all the equipment shipped down...Netapp filers, HP servers, Cisco BGP routers and switches, etc.

Anyone have experience with stuff like this that can make recommendations? Looking for a tier2 or tier3 dc

That would be 0,001G tech and it does work given its limitations.

Yeah i certainly wouldnt let a chilean tech get his hand on any equipment. Id go to the dc myself to swap harddrives or do network cabling, etc

There are serious pro datacenters in Temuco and concepcion. Obviously there are in Santiago but i dont really want to have to do an 18 hour roundtrip to replace a harddrive, etc
