Actually it seems that he is using the 'mean' or 'average' salary, but not the 'median' salary. And since he does not say where he got his data, his graph is rather meaningless.

'Salario promedio' would translate as 'Average salary', not 'Median salary'.

Do you understand how sources should be quoted? To say that he got it from some 'Sistema de Informacion Laboral', and provide a link to a web page with a video is not the correct way to provide the source.

There is a difference between 'average' and 'median', and just because you don't know it it does not mean that it is not important.
