Yeah, I wonder about the comfy US expats of the older baby boom or earlier era living off of SS. Won't be pretty. Might have to do a future airlift to the Empire in the midst of collapse and civil war.
Not many of them here, I don't think. SS alone is just not enough to live passably well in Chile. But in Cuenca, Ecuador, just to name one, real estate will suddenly become a lot cheaper.

yea, people just living on SS are pretty thin in Chile. Typically they have some other resources.

yea, I like how the article points out the Swiss are pushing it, but have one of the most restrictive immigration policies in the world.

Everyone in the Chilean media is focused on the Haitians returning to Haiti, and debating how racist it is or is not; to the point the whole conversation is stupidly blatantly racist.

Again, the very fact that Chile is having this conversation is racist. There is no big bla, bla, bla in the media about all the Venezuelans (FYI, Chile did its first return flight of Venezuelans, but that got little mention in the news), the Colombians, the Peruvians, etc. It is straight up debate about how dark the skin is of the people that came; but, they don't see that.

The irony, is the media is just full of the left falling over themselves claiming they are not racists, Chile is not racist, etc, etc, while totally making the hole conversation around "immigration" about the Haitians. They are using the words "immigration" and "Haiten", almost interchangeably, on both the left and the right. Chile is so racists, they don't even recognize their racism.

There was no "immigration crisis" in Chile, until there was "(black) immigration crisis".

Unfortunately, and further evidence of the racism involve, the hole topic of immigration reform has started to slip out of the political / news conversation cycle, now that the "immigration crisis" (i.e. the [black] immigration crisis) is under control. Rather than taking the opportunity to organize and update the whole immigration system, the can is just going to get kicked down the road. Immigration system in Chile is still very broken and out of date. It is not prepared in anyway to handle the numbers that have come, or will be coming. The "crisis" did not end, it is just being ignored for a while; until, something else happens to catch the attention of the media.
...And Switzerland bails in the UN migration pact

https://www.thelocal.ch/20181121/swiss- ... ation-pact

Color me shocked. This signing ceremony is supposed to be Dec 10-11...I wonder what countries will bail on it next.

i think chile realy needs to prep for a growing enviromental refugee crisis:

https://earther.gizmodo.com/government- ... 624858/amp

most the biggest migrarion movements going on have an enviromental / political cause behind it. the war in syria is traced to draught movibg people to urbsn zones for instance. africa, south east asia, etc. i can open up my email inbox, and pretty mich map the enquiries about moving to chile from around the world to the enviromontel crisis. it is only going to excelerate.

well chile did another flight of 180 haitens, and stopped to pickup chileans in venezuela on the way back.

https://www.df.cl/noticias/economia-y-p ... 82155.html

i have a conspiracy theory of sorts. chile was given the heads-up by the u.s. to get nationals out of venezuela. this also happens to coinside with military "humanitarian disaster" exercises between chile, peru, equador, (think colombia too), and the united states. i would expect some sort of news related to venezuela to come out of the G-20 meeting shortly after, and i see china's xi is making stops in panama on his way to argentina. something is up.

and to juice my conspiracy theory, this high ranking, well positioned officer, that was the aid to mattise, was named head of southcom on november 26th.

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Craig_S._Faller

being named commander of southcom, due to its mostly historicaly insignificant roll and just plane lack of action (the 7th fleet was only recently reconstituted a few years ago), would be a demotion for such an officer unless something was brewing.

then also, perhaps he just pissed off mattis or trump, and is being put out to pasture in latin america.

well, it seems this thread is being outlawed by the new UN agreement on migration.

https://www.zerohedge.com/news/2018-11- ... ary-leader

to stay out of trouble, i am officialy declaring all migration, of any sort, 'all unicorns and rainbows'. Everyone now must smile when posting on this thread, and think happy thoughts.

Meanwhile, the UN Human Rights Office of the High Commissioner posted a transcript of a November 20 speech from Andrew Gilmour, Assistant Secretary-General for Human Rights,
I notice in almost all these articles the ID of this "High Commissioner" at the UN is never named. Think she learned well of staying out of the direct line of fire and scrutiny and letting her minions give the orders to their troops to promote the NWO agenda.
