the even funnier thing is that is not the first time the PC has had trouble with their real estate portfolio.

few years ago they tried to evict a group of families living on one of their properties. Seems some party member, like 20 years before, invited them to come live on the property for free as long as they like.

so CUT (national workers union), has cut loose the mesa union social, after the crazy ass statements from the leader about changing the constitution and dissolving the congress by decree, etc.

This was the same one that the head of the communist party a few months back was holding up at the international communist party conference in Venezuela as their "revolutionary party" in Chile. Funny thing about revolutions, they can get away from you.

haaaa, so the thing that is rapidly blowing apart the mesa social is the idiots calling for people to mark their votes "AC" or "assembly constitutional". which I pointed out a while back has the high probability of nullifying the vote.

yea and SERVAL is saying as long as the preference is clear in the vote, but that is not how people do it in practice. They write all sorts of stupid stuff, and the interpretation is made at the table.

but they are not.

they are talking AC in the sense that Maduro talks about it: completely desolving Congress.

Much as I would like to gloat over the problems the PCCh are having, I suspect this is typical viveza, the woman didn't work there, she lived there, rent-free through some vague arrangement the PC had with her defunct husband. Now she is "trying it on" with the labour courts, who are notoriously biased in favour of the "worker". Since there is quite a lot of money involved the commies will contest the ruling.

Moral of the story - don't let someone live on your property long-term and rent-free without a legally-defined relationship set out on paper. Otherwise your generosity may end up costing you big bucks.

The municipality of Ñuñoa fined this theatre for not cleaning up the graffiti:

The theatre didn't cause the damage.
The police didn't stop the protesters .
Even if its cleaned up, what's to stop it from being defaced again?
The government will not compensate for damages.
Despite the chaos, the Municipal inspectors are still busily working away, issuing fines.
Unsurprisingly, its the victims who have to pay. As usual.
