i find it really sad that a country that fought multiple german bbombardments of wwl and wwll, can no longer find where they left their balls to decide to use a shotgun near an airport.

are the british realy doing that bad in the international trap shooting competitions that they can not find a few qualified people?

as i read through the conversations and statements of officials in the british media, something really smells with this story.

things like you cant shoot down one of these drones with a shotgun. we are not talking about military grade global hawks here. we are talking toys. have you seen how high and fast a canadian goose flies?

or

the collateral damage thing. i am not sure you could bring down a jet with a shotgun full of bird shot, if you were inside a presurized jet at 30,000 feet. i am not even sure most bird shot would pentrate the skin of a pressurised jet.

the whole thing just is over top ridiculous.

the other one. they cant trace the source of the drones without highly specialized military equipment.

there is probably a free application for my cell phone to trace the source of drone signals.

Wow, people are having fun in the comments to that article.

'I think the British Army will need a stiff upper lip and employ Corporal Jones to bayonet them. Failing that they can be shouted at and marched up and down the square.'

On a side note, why does sarcasm not work in Chile? :)

So who's going to be blamed first for this - Russia or China? Or both, given there were two drones? :)

not a good sign. mattis out as sec of defense.

that leaves trump playing general, and bolten talking in his ear unchecked.

venezuela should be very nervious. we all should be.

So Mattis said he's leaving because Trump doesn't play nice with NATO allies, doesn't wanna have a war with China and/or Russia, and doesn't wanna promote 'international order'. Well, I don't think anybody will miss that guy. And Venezuelans are probably cracking open their most expensive champagne tonight.

Chile diplomats have a busy 15 months coming up.
Japan have invited Chile to G20 there next year.
Apec in Chile next year.
Chile to host the world climate summit in 2020 (after Brazil stepped down, due to financial issues)
I can't decide for you. You'll have to make up your own mind.
