So now that Trump has become the President-elect, you feel emboldened to also make misogynist comments.

As I recall, just about that time, Pinera was also putting the screws to the U.S. congress to pass the Chile-U.S. free trade agreements (including one country tax residency) or they would go sign agreements directly with the parties. The U.S., under sec. state Hillary, ignored Chile.

I seen and heard Clinton saying: I'm against TPP that Obama pushed so hard for America to take the leading role so to counter attack China's "belt and road initiative" commerce domination plan to engulf all South-Asia, the middle east, and whole Europe in a one go. But now, that Clinton has lost and the "El Tramposo" soon taking the reins, the TPP is kaput.

" Much has been written about the Belt and Road initiative since Xi Jinping made it Beijing’s flagship initiative in September 2013. There are many interpretations of the initiative’s ultimate objectives, but one objective is clear. The belt and road scheme will bring huge improvements in regional and international connectivity through infrastructure upgrades and trade facilitation across a massive geographic area."

the regional potentially affected covers as many as 63 countries (even if vaguely defined), sixty percent of the world’s population and thirty percent of global GDP.

This massive project is centered in two main routes, along which connectivity is to be fostered: land and sea. On land the focus is on transportation infrastructure and energy. For the sea, investment in ports and new trade routes are the main pillars. Both routes will have a major impact on Europe. In fact, the land route ends up in Europe, while the sea route is currently the most heavily used for trade between Europe and China. Undoubtedly, the belt and road initiative will affect Europe and the European Union (EU).

Do you have any reference to that comment? All I have found is that Piñera supported the TPP. Others were critical, but not Piñera.

El gobierno de Sebastián Piñera fue uno de los impulsores más entusiastas y trató de concretarlo varias veces sin éxito.

It looks like the Member for Goldman Sachs (Malcolm Turnbull, Australian Prime Minister) is pushing for Australia to ratify the TPP in order to keep the 'agreement' alive despite Trump's disinterest. ))-:
