this is Charlotte the 5 y/o Airedale. she came from australia with us. she has found herself any empty bed to sleep on, normally she would get chased off as soon as she thought about getting on a bed, but her life has been tipped on its head so she gets away with plenty these days.

It's called Cruz del Malta. it's from Argentina, as is my wife
she brings several other brands from Argentina, another one is Tarague which my Chileno friends gustan mucho.
certainly better than any I've found locally.

I am guessing that Lola (the dog, right?) is not in her own chair but the one usually used by you. I noticed that it is marginally taller than your wife's chair. Just so we get to know you a little better……is that deliberate? Considering the woodpile and all. :D

well I do sit in that chair when Lola lets me :D , but the difference in height is due to the fact that the chairs are adjustable and that one just happens to be in the upright position, the other in recline. but I am taller than her. maybe Roxana and Lola should switch.

So, how long before a newbie can post their pet pics?

You're practically there. And a belated welcome.

• Welcome the fact that you appear to be a genuine poster and not a troll.
• That you immediately did not start to pick fights with long time forumites or tell us what asses we are (true we can generally be asses but usually to teach about the reality of Chile or to make an important point rather than just being a nasty troll-like ass).
• Apparently one that can search and do preliminary research before posting a question (I suspect a younger Boomer or older X'er).

Thanks for the welcome eeuu,
Yes, a younger boomer is correct...born and raised in Oregon and lived in Washington State (for a while) and after lots of travel for 20+ years moved 5 years ago to Thailand. Now I am seriously considering a move to a place that I can get real residency and citizenship (Thailand simply will not work for that). I have experience from travel and expat-dom that I never really felt the need to compare the West to my present home and doubt I would do it anywhere I landed....Of course if someone would like to make me "benevolent dictator" I would change some things right away but I realize that most things I would change would have both positive and negative consequences and I do not want wherever I am to become another USA....I left for a reason(s), why would I want it back....
I realize that this last part has nothing to do with your comments, lol....just a for-what-it's-worth. I will actually attempt research before posting a question and I will have lots of questions, no doubt....thanks in advance for the insight.
