6.8 quake, los rios region (corrected)

seems that was a 6.8 off the coast of valdivia at 10 km down.

felt it in frutillar. sufficient to get us up and out of the house.

rather long too. my guess it waa about 6.0, perhaps high 5.5+ here. big bump, followed by about a minute of lesser rolling type movement.

yea, I would stay alert for a bit. the nieghborhood has a history of generating some big boys.

Felt it in Caburgua...soft waves. Windows rattled a bit during the 30 seconds I was really feeling it

First EQ I have actually felt since living in Chile since 2015. :salut:

That quake was almost in the same area as the 1960 earthquake. And we still have a couple days left in 2020.
