And considering how many ignorant little millenials are out there think they should be able to do what they like and damn everyone else (even their own grandparents).
Come on, the youngest millennials are 24 now (1996) while the oldest ones (1981) are turning 40 next year! 👴

Most partying people should be from the Gen Z (1997–2012), they are often called "zoomers" to rhyme them with "boomers".

Yeah the Gen Z are actually already living online, and as it turns out are more responsible, partying less drinking less, getting arrested less, less teenage pregnancy, less smoking etc etc. It is actually the millennials that are doing all the partying still, and screwing up.

There will be some real hard choices and trade-offs involving people's life. Obviously not the rather trivial "right to party of a GenY/Z" against the lifes of the boomer generation.

But Italian and Spanish doctors have to triage every day against 80+ year old patients in favour of 60 year old patients.

After a couple of weeks of lock-down I'm sure we will have similar discussions about economic survival of the working age population against the lifes of the senior and impaired population. I'm not looking forward to this discourse.

A couple of weeks? The economic survival discussion is already happening now, after a few days (economics is about choices and decisions made by all players). Is it really possible to live in lockdown for 12 to 18 months to save the most vulnerable in society and elderly ? Those unsavory conversations are just getting going that's the worst part .

The thing is, I see this curfew and that is going to panic people who are driving home at 10.30pm at night on their way back from delivering medical supplies or doing vital work. Are they going to be stopped by police? In the last curfew, some people were taken to jail? Is that a possibility here? Everyone has to worry about whether they need some special letter and how they get it? It's unnecessary stress.

If there were an understanding that the police would use some common sense and, only make actually enforce the rule or make arrests in cases of say 5+ people in a social gathering, that would be OK. If they are going to arrest people at 10.15pm that are driving home on their way from work because there was a traffic problem....that's a nonsense. So it depends on the case rather than a blanket curfew.

The curfew has been modified across the country.

It is now 11 p.m. to 5 a.m.
