holy shit.

So Argentina just added 3,500 to their official body count that was not included, bringing the death toll to just short of 19,000 (i have seen some fuzzy conflicting numbers in various sources).

They had 12,000 new cases today, with steady over 10,000 for weeks now.

But, it is Argentina. The land of fake numbers. If they are officially publishing those numbers, the real numbers are probably far far worse.

1. elderly
2. obese
3. low income

3. low income

Seriously, though, both him and Biden were very close to each other during the debate and it's actually possible for him to get infected as well. 2020 has been such a wild year.

Trump is being flown to walter read medical center.

It is because Trump is in several high risk groups:
1. elderly
2. obese
3. low income

Thus he needs government subsidized medicine, before he is evicted from his government housing.

so Argentina now has the highest positivity rate in the world at over 60%. it is hovering around number 5 to 6 in the world for cases at over 840,000 cases, and 22,000 deaths.

seems yesterday they had over 16,447 positive cases, 401 deaths.

what is stunning however is the excelleration of the spread. peru and spain for instance got to their numbers over the course of 9 months. Argentina got there in the last couple months, with no signs of slowing.

the other stunner is somehow the official number of hospital beds available has held steady at some magical 63% for months. something is not adding up with that.

doctors however are saying they are maxed out, and say there is no enophe testing, tracing, and no isolation of cases

seems there is about 140,000 official active cases in Argentina. chile by constrast is running about 14,000 to 15,000 active cases per day right now, with less than half the population.

No surprises that Puerto Montts cases continue to increase with stuff like this going on, selling false permissions
https://www.soychile.cl/Puerto-Montt/Po ... ntena.aspx

As for the dickhead mayor of PM who was crying out for the government to bring in Quarantine in July, now he says its not working and wants it lifted despite numbers being high as ever . You understand why Puerto Montt is the way it is when you realize what the mayor is like, a populist joke.

Certain areas in Perú already have herd immunity apparantly , with over 60percent of the population having contracted covid. Argentina headed the same way?

So now the WHO is saying lockdowns are causing harm (which everyone pretty much knew months ago) , increasing poverty, etc, and say they should only have ever been used as a last resort or to buy time for countries to prepare.
How come they are just saying this now?
Was it the Who that recomended continual lockdowns in the first place?
I'm confused 😕.
