Trump prohibits 3M from selling N95 masks to Canada and Latin America
https://london.ctvnews.ca/3m-warns-of-b ... -1.4881056
Canada has set up warehouses in China and now all PPE will be air shipped to Canada from China....

On a Chilean note, the US seized under their new steal everything power a container of PPE equipment waiting for a ship south on the docks in Long Beach, it was travelling China to Chile....the importer is a friend....
There will be consequences to this shit when it is over.

the most immediate one, the whole world, including American companies, will cut America out of their supply chain for fear of this sort of crap happening again. obviously, the u.s. is just a bunch of fucking middlemen anyway. they don't produce anything. so that is just going to be a reduction in overhead for everyone else.

so, the Argentina " la nacion " paper republished that BBC artcle, but with their own title

"Coronavirus: por qué Chile tiene una de las tasas de mortalidad más bajas del mundo" (Coronavirus: why Chile has one of the lowest death rates in the World)

https://www.lanacion.com.ar/el-mundo/co ... nid2350565

which, not sure about that, but yea we probably have so far not just the lowest in latin America, but one of the lowest in the World at 0.09 per 100,000 inhabitants.
Panamá tiene 0,88 muertos por cada 100.000 habitantes; Ecuador, 0,7; y República Dominicana, 0,56. Mientras que Chile solo tiene 0,09 víctimas fatales por cada 100.000 habitantes.

China sending 1000 ventilators to NY, probably more more practical than anything Chump has done thus far.

https://amp.theguardian.com/global-deve ... -of-deaths

so trying to piece together what is going on in brazil. official data is no good, but the bits and piec3s are not clear from various reports. whatever it is, it is very, very bad.

there was an official out of rio that estimated the real deaths and cases was 30 to 100 times the official numbers.

so seems the air force is gearing up to go pickup 500 ventilators in china. it also seems that everyone is a bit concerned about the fucking united states siezing the ventilators en route.

what was he thinking? https://www.ALJAZEERA IS BANNED/blogs/america ... 39014.html
Yeah not his greatest move, but that's him and not the first time hes done something stupid. Faux outrage from idiots like Heraldo Muñoz, your time is done Heraldo shut up. This will be forgotten soon enough just like a lot of the protests and social demands, as the economy collapses, I'd be surprised if the constitution vote even goes ahead this year. And all those idiot Chilean politicians on the left should keep very quiet most people have seen right through them and what they were up to.

Yeah, Alejandro Guillier said it was a "provocation". As if there are areas in Chile that the President of Chile is prohibited from visiting. In the midst of the epidemic, when at least some degree of opposition support would be appropriate, they continue with the trench warfare. Given up following the political news, its hopeless. They can never resist indulging in the national vice of el hueveo.

We suddenly have a new global equality index: how deep your grave is dug.

actually, that is the oldest equality index we have. Even the Neanderthals seem to have taken more time with the funeral rights, based on the importance of the individual in society.

no one is too interest in communist fantasies anymore; nor, are they too interested in libertarian fantasies.

https://www.biobiochile.cl/noticias/nac ... -471.shtml

most are over 80, and / or have some critical condition.

there has been some under 40, but again they all seem to have some serious comorbidities such obesity, diabetes, etc
