ok, the representatives passed the project to legislate women quotas and independents.

think the indians got the shaft by the lefties, but hey they are use to it by now. Indians always get the shaft everywhere. That was basically unworkable on any level because there is no real legal definition of what it is to be "indigenous", even in the most generic sense.

funny, I was just thinking about it. I use live with a Indian family, and with the immediate extended family, they were like over 100 members. They could not agree on who was a "real indian" and who was not, inside their own family. I don't think I have met an Indian group anywhere in the americas that has worked that one out, even among each other. In the states, the u.s. goverment had to force an identity on them with the BIA roll numbers, just so government beucracy would work.

guess they did pass the project for the indigenous quotas, and defined the groups (but not who is in it).

that one I am not buying. that bullshit is just straight attempt by the far left to seat extreme leftists.

still digging in to this

now, here is a "small print" I seem to have missed (and seems everyone else did too), the first vote in April is not going to be obligatory. that is, the vote to start the process and what sort of organization will draft it.

It is the vote to approve the constitution once drafted that is obligatory.

if so, there is a real possibility of this whole project being killed off in the crib.

Today in Plaza Italia could be interesting. Apparently, carabineros have posted or will post 1000 officers around the plaza.

Quick point of comparison: estimates out the number of deaths in the Iranian protests at about 1000. They began at about the same time as the Chilean protests, but they have been much more violent. There are reports of the arming firing machine guns at the protestors.

Source: https://outline.com/qe82xR (or https://www.washingtonpost.com/world/na ... story.html)

Now, Iran is not Chile, obviously, but this in interesting for the sake of seeing how much worse this all could have been. I think we need to thank the general incompetence and lack of skill of almost everyone involved in the protests, as it could've been much worse if either side knew what they were doing.

There is a second part where he is COMPLETELY soaked. Yep, the uncivility has come to this on both sides. Wankers all around.

fascinating read.

I am sure the little wankers in the street would be outraged to find out, their little anarchist revolution is not all that orginal.
