This is terrorism, pure and simple. How happy is that general Iturrira now?
Yes without a doubt. The criminals should be prosecuted under the terrorism laws for a strong dose of cause and effect.

Those who sneered know who they are and probably feel a bit stupid now, or maybe not. Stupidity rarely recognizes itself.

Santiaguinos, I have a doc appointment in the very cuico side of town tomorrow but must use the public transport system from U de Santiago to Kennedy (combo Metro/Bus).

What says your subjective crystal ball?

Is there something I should know as the press no longer reports in a timely manner or reports at all the disturbances?

So, assuming this is an organized destabilization of South America, what's likely to happen here in Chile? And when?

Any thoughts about Karla Rubilar as the speaker for La Moneda?
Just listened to one of her first interviews after the appointment and I liked her a lot. She's a pretty smart cookie with a lot of potential.

Good luck! I'm hoping to get some dental work finished, before too much SHTF:( I'm halfway done with a root canal, and still have more to go after that.

'They' need a more unified market here in Latin America, to be able to suck it better. Chile made noises about becoming the financial center of LA bla bla and it's corporates operate in several neighboring countries. So it has (or maybe had until recently) the makings of becoming the entry point for the sucking straw. At least for the Spanish part.

And Chile is well positioned because of the one-on-one trade deal with China and its geography and infrastructure to be the Pacific entry point for the Maritime Silk Road into the Southern Cone.

The burning up of shit across the continent lowers the entry cost for the capital that was obviously already set aside for the takeover, so we'll see what happens now.

If this video is to be believed from 1 hour ago

https://facebook.com/watch/?v=418315002436369&_rdr

the portuarios of Valpo are now in paro. Ships were being redirected from San Antonio to Valpo because San Antonio was in paro and now the two main ports of Chile are in paro.

It doesn't sound like things are getting back to normal anytime soon, if ever. Here, or anywhere else.
