Well today is the anniversary of 9/11 , Chile version, so lets see if we get a preview of October or if everyone lost interest.

Yea, that was pretty calm and contained as those sorts of things go.

And for all those that still think 18-0 was a spontaneous domestic social crisis:

I never did quite believe that 50 - odd metro stations were totally destroyed within a few hours by a bunch of 14 YOs in their little school uniforms protesting a toll hike of $00.04 which did not apply to them anyway.

I had a tsunami of traffic right around then to my servers, and none of it was from chile.

Most of it had Russian and eastern european finger prints.

Agree, that was clear (at least to me) on 19/10 when Teillier demanded that Piñera stand down.
But there's nothing on that Buzzfeed page mentioning Chile...??

Nothing new there.
The PCCh and other left-wing parties have always supported the Castro-Chávez-Maduro dictatorships, among others.

So the publicity this time is perhaps only due to reactionary elements in the local media (yea!). Or maybe the Commies believe that the public has been sufficiently brainwashed to allow them to brazenly parade their true aim, aka Chilezuela.

The mini-Teletón "Vamos Chile" campaign that just ended attracted a lot of negative sentiment, and not many individual donations, due to at least in part to the inclusion of "Apruebo" elements and anti-government messages by some participants. "Don Francisco" (Mario Kreutzberger), who until now has been a unifying figure in Chilean popular culture for many years, lost a lot of goodwill by getting involved, admittedly via remote control.

Politicking has no place in a campaign that was supposedly to help Senior Citizens affected by the pandemic, and also by the preceding terror campaign, although that of course was never mentioned.
