we sit inside...

In Chile, when the old, crazy, and infirm are institutionalized and set out in a wheelchair on the patio to drool all over each other they are referred to as “locos de patio”. This is where we keep our locos de patio on the All Chile Forum.

Sit back and enjoy the show as debating and arguing will go no where at this stage.
If there are no plans to convert the latest hit geographical area (and of course, with the proper "numbers" reported) to the playground (testing site) of an experimental vaccine.
Maybe more awareness will augment the already anti-government tendencies and chip away at the vaccine trusting nature of the population, or perhaps not. Of course, a vaccine could also backfire like the accidentally released research virus. There are mitigation measures when taking vaccines and awareness may be more powerful than most realize.

Salud.

As an unhealthy world population is in the financial interest of a number of health care related industries, and healthy world population is also in the financial interest of a great number of other industries, can we compare pressure from these two mutually contradicting forces? Which is stronger, at the present times, from purely financial point of view? (BTW, should we count small funeral firms?).

The stronger is a given and needs not be asked and they are trying to co-opt the supplement/natural remedy and related industries by buyouts and governmental regulations.

(see articles by Whitney Webb, a brilliant millenial reporter and US expat in Chile, on this aspect)
I do appreciate what she and the team are doing. People of this sort are becoming rare. Especially at the present time, when folks go to jail easily for simply opening their mouth (at least, in certain countries).
