He is staying with Pamela Figueroa Arriagada. I don't know the address. I am guessing near the university, as he was thinking about taking a job there to teach english. He is 36, 5 foot 7 inches (or there about) 150 pounds, blad, althetic. There is a picture of him on Facebook chilepersonfinder.

I thought he started the other thread right after the quake. I do believe he is in the south near Pucon.

Trying to locate a friend and fellow sheep-farmer Helmut Sieger, who is near Parral... He is in an isolated area west of R-5 but all-adobe house and no one has been able to reach him.

Dear Friends,

Feeling very helpless from so far away, I am trying all that I can to reach my sister-in-law and her family who live in Concepcion. Does anyone know of the damage done to the area Angol 18 near Victor Lama and Parque Ecuador? I know that no calls can be received from the outside, but have heard that some successes have been made on calls within the country. If anyone in Chile could try calling these cell numbers and find out if my sister-in-law is ok ,we would be forever grateful. Her name is Gabi Rios and she lives with Rodrigo Fuentes. They have 2 small children (Martina and Santino). Gabi's cell is: (56) 987 211 416
98135430 is the cell of Daniel Jara Model who is a family friend also in Concepcion and may know the whereabouts of Gabi and Rodrigo.

My email is jolenebrister@gmail.com

Goodnight and God Bless you all,

Jolene

Thank you for reading this post. My husband and I are going out of our minds with worry.

We just had a really incredible moment I don't think I will ever forget. It seems we have one of the only working international lines in Temuco, and likly the region via our vonage USA line (in my signature below).

A family just called us from the United States. While they were on our our U.S. line, we dialed the land line of the family member they were looking for. We got them both on speaker phone so they could talk. They were so happy to finally confirm that everyone was o.k. I did not even know the people, but I wanted to cry.

We can try to do this with others, if you have phone number in Chile that we can reach with our cell phones or with our land lines. The call quality is bad, and they have to be short, but at least you should be able here the family members voice.

It is normally best that we track down the person first, and confirm what their situation is like and how best to communicate with them first.

The other incredible moment I had tonight was after we contacted about 12 people, it occurred to me that in all the excitement I forgot to call my own family.

I just sent a private message, but also wanted to say thank you for all you are doing to help connect families during this time. If there is anything I can do to help please let me know - my spanish is not great but if people there want to send messages to family members in the US or Canada I could make calls for them.

NOTICE: please include your real name in the subject line of your PM to me, so I can sort your pm faster and also make sure I get the right answer back to the right people.
We are also using it for internal tracking as I pass tasks out to our staff and they send the results and updates back to me.

We have to sign off for tonight.

Please keep in mind the time difference. Make sure you check the time with Google. We will likly be up and running again about 10-11 AM in the morning or so. I will post back when we are for sure. We need to get some more temporary workstations setup in the morning, so we can bring a couple more of our staff back to help us.

Right now the city is under a curfew, and it is 2:41am local time so there is no one we can reach right now.
