Do people really call them perros callejeros/perros vagabundos in Chile? Down here all I hear is quiltro, whether it´s a street dog or a mutt that somebody keeps as a pet.

Not a bad term at all. And if that is your idea of a selfie, it´s super avant garde - like at the level of seeing sounds and hearing colors.

These masterless dogs don´t commit suicide though. The fox condemns the trap, not itself.

Right, which is typical...

I don´t think the people I´m hearing are just trying to be polite. Maybe it´s just a thing in some places? Maybe it takes too long to say ¨perros callejeros.¨ Or else I´m just not listening closely enough, I´m still learning the language. I´m walking around town here like Queequeg, heavy foreigner in their midst vibe.

Wrong in perceiving that the "Ronins" commits suicide though..The Ronins are master-less thus in no moral obligation to
commit hara-Kiri or suicide..The lawfully hired Samurais commited the void due to sacrifice it all to serve the Master !

But much can be lost in Google translate...Why isn't there an universal language created perhaps in the near future so all of us the Earthkinder can assimilate each other without constant lost in translations phase, Ha,ha,haaaa !

Not exactly. And you know better, hybrid-chan.
Many examples of sepuku in ronin following bushido principles and obligations, including here 元禄赤穂事件 Or Genroku Akō for the henna-gaijin.
The Akou-Roushi commited Mass Hara-Kiri 'cause they commited a crime to the general society for disturbing the quietness of Edo citizens, not because they were Ronin Samurais..The Ronins do not commit seppuku act..Only the ones under the feudal masters do...Lost in translation again !

Yes but what I meant was, perros vagos do not attain their title by virtue of not committing suicide.
