Where to donate Books, and Clothes

We are have enough books, and clothes to full a camioneta!!!!!

I need to know where i can dontate these to a good cause,

The books are all spanish, and mainly encyclopaedias, and history of chile etc

The clothes are mainly teenagers!!

any ideas? as there is so much i want them going to a good cause, somewhere that will use them, or make good use of them!...

I'm assuming you live in Santiago, approaching an orphanage would be an excellent idea and I'm sure you'll find many of them there, I'm guessing some are run (?)by El Hogar de Cristo and by the state.

If you can get to Dichato, I can connect you to the local parish priest and give you a place to stay for a night or two. Dichato still has 800 families displaced by the tsunami and living in shacks.

We have some small girls clothes/shoes here that I was going to donate, I don't suppose you have a name/address/email address for the priest? I'd be happy to post things down there.

i can get the address...or you can send it to me and i can deliver it. i make periodic trips to santiago, so we might be able to save the shipping charges if we can coordinate a meeting there.
