Re: Pensionado visa

For the record, in no way, shape, or form are we on vacation. Just really busy.

We dont conduct biz through the forum pm system for the most part; but, when i get a sec i will have look.

As far as i know all my email has been answered, except for the nigerian prince (but he keeps trying to move to chile anyway).

I even had to apoligize to a couple employees this week. We totally spaced-off setting up the rotation schedule for their vacations, and they were being good troopers and did not want to bother us about it.

Your team might be working, but it's a major vacation time throughout the country. Most immigration offices are having breakdowns due to the high volume of immigrants combined with lower manpower.

So even though your team is on it, it's too be expected for immigration matters to take longer than usual to untangle.

Dont know what to tell you about that. I have warning for years now that immigration was going to get harder. It rarely gets easier.

Indeed, but that mass migration of primarily low skilled "tourists" bringing little resources from the Caribe and norte Sud Am is one of those black swan events that no one predicted (except if you were in the know within the Bachie circlo).

Who can forget March 11 and all the earth movement that day with many visiting world leaders in attendance at Piñera's inauguration, who can forget bruja's 8.8 whopper and aftermath in the early hours of February 27 less than two weeks before?

Looks like OP and participants "retired" from the topic and proceeded onwards to characteristic allchile.net forum thread drift.
