AFAIK, countries like Canada, Australia, and NZ really don't like to accept people with disabilities or severe chronic illness.
...it is inconsistent for Canada to accept that a Convention refugee overseas is in need of protection but treat them as inadmissible because they would cause excessive demands on health services.

To answer your question I was born in the USA.
I understand that you are saying just get as many documents as you can. It sounds like the only technically required document is the Work Contract.
What about the passport pages, getting every page stamped with Apostille?
