I did a search on here and couldn't find anything recent on cable/satellite tv providers.

What do people recommend?
How is Directv?
VTR?

Which provider has the most English speaking channels?

directv will have the most english channels, and you can for example order the international news packages that are a mix of English channels and the rest of the latin american country channels.

What you can get through will depend on a lot of things. what city you are in, if you are in a building that only has VTR, does it have an angel for dish (do they allow dishes), and so on. Some places you get a lot of options. Some not so much.

By the way, all the internet service providers provide some form of TV package.

Our building will have Manquehue and I've been told that DirecTV dishes will not be a problem (we'll see about that when we move in though).
To see my football (Crystal Palace) I think only DirecTV that will show all the games.

The way Palace is playing their games may not be televised for much longer. :)
