Typical Obama:
Penalize those who attempt to plan ahead by saving.
Reward whose who want to have their snout in the public trough.

Chile: My expectations are low. Very low.
I accept chaos. I'm not sure whether it accepts me.

Just finished watching another masterful State of the Union speech by Obama. But, this time I am hopeful his follow-through will finally match his towering rhetoric.

Chile must have some good weed.
There are two ways to be fooled.

One is to believe what isn't true;

the other is to refuse to believe what is true.

I should have qualified my comments by stating that it was a very well crafted and delivered speech. I did find much to like in it particularly the emphasis on addressing income inequality and hiking capital gains taxes and closing loopholes. Did not like his request to Congress to grant him "fast track" authority to negotiate corporate-friendly "free trade" agreements (regrettably, this is likely a foregone conclusion since Congressional Republicans (and many Democrats too) are falling-all-over-themselves in their eagerness to do the bidding of the corporate elite).

Here's an article that suggests otherwise. Frankly, I don't think it makes any difference, to the status quo, to which political party the wealthiest 'one percenters' belong.

Wealthiest Americans in each state primarily support Republicans

That's because Republicans have short arms and deep pockets. :lol:

One advantage of being apolitical is ones oil pressure does not fluctuate when reading these comments, you just sit back and watch the show.
All lies and jest, still a man hears what he wants to hear and disregards the rest.
