how to erase a post

Anything at all (keep it clean) goes here that does not fit in to any of the other forums.

How does one erase a post they made? Not a comment, a whole post.

I don't know what the difference between a comment and a post is, but you can delete your own stuff by replacing it with nothing, using the edit function. I don't know how to delete a whole thread, including other people's comments though. Admin probably has to do that.

Yeah, that sounds like an admin function

Yea, i have to do it.

Some years ago, I disable users deleting their posts after a certain time to keep people from blowing holes in the forum when they try to delete all their posts in one go. We had users that would hang around, start a lot of threads, then for whatever reason decide to delete all their posts. It would leave long threads with no initial post context and other messes on the forum.

Pm what you want to delete, i will have a look.
