Corruption in the FBI predates the Clintons and Obama by at least 50 years. Ever heard of a guy named J. Edgar Hoover?

OF COURSE they have a dossier on Pumpkinhead. Why wouldn't they? That's what they do.

I'm waiting to see how Pumpkinhead turns this into a money maker. Maybe they will offer golden showers by Ivanka look-alikes at selected hotels and resorts? There's an image to savor....

Let's not forget that Clapper lied to Congress and did not go to jail, as he should have.
All spooks lie...an occupational hazard. :) But I'm okay with Clapper or any other Intel chief going to jail...after a fair trial that is.

The Trump allegations are now out there and should be thoroughly investigated and, if there's anything there, then let the chips fall where they may.
True, John. But you do have a habit of listening too much to the 'echo chamber' of (so-called) 'liberal' fake news.

Just one example:
http://thefreethoughtproject.com/epic-t ... fake-news/
Are you kidding me? You accuse me of listening to 'liberal' fake news and then reference a biased anarcho-capitalist/libertarian website.
Labels do you no justice.
You clearly have no ability to ascertain a grain of truth from outright BS.
Have you not noticed the degree to which the recent 'revelations' have been discredited?
No wonder you come up with the destructive, fascist social solutions you do.
Didn't you apply a pejorative label to 'liberal' news?
I try to be objective when evaluating news reports, your derisive comment notwithstanding.
Presumably, you are referring to 'revelations' about Buzz Feed's reporting? It seems the intelligence agencies are pursuing the veracity of those allegations and it seems prudent to wait until that investigation is completed before jumping to any conclusions.
There you go again, implying that my views are fascist.

The autocratic tendencies of Trump are already in full flight. Anyone who believes in transparency in government and the upholding of First Amendment rights should be very concerned indeed.

I was involved in UK politics at a very senior level and am aware of the operative ( ex MI6 ) and would testify that he was and still is, held in the highest regard, especially in the area of the Soviet Union.
If what is tentatively reported is a reflection of his report then I would give considerable credance to it. Add to that the other investigative " Russian Connection " data and I see a very difficult period for the Trump administration. As I am aware of further even more serious allegations still to be reported. Get a bet on impeachment within 2 years.

With Trump's propensity to be "economical with the truth", I hope the media continues to rigorously fact-check every claim he makes.

Three days ago Krugman was held up as an 'authority'.
The beginning of the following is an interesting analysis of his 'positions'.

John Maudlin is being disingenuous about Paul Krugman's position on deficits, as the following articles illustrate.

Conservatives think they've caught Paul Krugman in an act of hypocrisy. They Haven't.

Interesting comparison. Let's hope the "Separation of Powers" doctrine remains in effect during Trump's term in office.

Another case of: Impunity corrupts.
Absolute impunity corrupts absolutely

https://www.nytimes.com/2017/02/22/us/a ... count.html

Who are really the most prolific and most dangerous criminals in the USSA?
operatives used a web of shadowy cigarette sales to funnel tens of millions of dollars into a secret bank account. They weren’t known smugglers, but rather agents from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.

The operation, not authorized under Justice Department rules, gave agents an off-the-books way to finance undercover investigations and pay informants without the usual cumbersome paperwork and close oversight, according to court records and people close to the operation.

The secret account is at the heart of a federal racketeering lawsuit brought by a collective of tobacco farmers who say they were swindled out of $24 million.
Nearly all references to the A.T.F. have been blacked out of public court records, and most documents are entirely sealed.
The Times has fought to make all the documents public, but the Justice Department has argued successfully in court to keep them secret.
The 'Justice' Department???
BATF also ran 'Fast and Furious'. How many of their agents went to jail for that?
“We voted unanimously to give everything we had to the government,” said Charlie Batten, a U.S. Tobacco board member whose family has worked the same North Carolina soil for generations. “We thought they would take it and run with it. What happened was, they’ve fought us tooth and nail.”
. . .
Three years into its lawsuit, U.S. Tobacco still cannot disentangle itself from the government.

a justification for enforced 'immunization'

Post by Andres » Mon Apr 03, 2017 6:41 pm

Will this be a justification for enforced 'immunization' in the not-too-distant future?
For the sake of 'public safety', of course.
