sookoon, your items for sale, are those never being used? Looks as if they are brand new ones? Have you gathered them just to contemplate them but to never use? Anyways, you seem to take a really good care of your belongings! Hope you get satisfying prices for them.!

those are the catalog images.

Let me clarify something. You are including the transformer for that welder?

yea, that would mean something like a 6000 kw generator (not cheap), or I would have rewire a dedicated circuit in my house to run it. Both sort of cut down on the portability of it. Shame, really interested in it. I see like the next version up had a 110 / 220 switch built in. I will have a look in see if there is a possibility of doing a retrofit for it.

The transformer might not actually be a bad option, as it is stepping down to 110 from 220, rather than up to 220. Then also I am sucky electrician.

It's not so much stepping down from 220, as operating something on 50Hz (Chile) on something optimized for 60Hz (USA). When coils made for 60Hz get 50Hz power, they work less efficiently and create more waste heat. A lot of stuff just works OK anyhow. The welder ultimately has to step down the voltage to something like 30V, but with really high current capability. So you might be rolling the dice with that one.

Just to be an a-hole cuz I'm anal retentive about this stuff, 6000 KW is 6 megawatts. Yeah, that would be a big, expensive generator (like a power station for a small city). You probably mean 6KW. :P
