You need physical aasets and food to keep your people happy. look who is buying these animals, apart from the chinese govt. They are insurance companies, i know one of the guys exporting out of chile.
the chinese goverment cracked down on using copper for leverage on investments, thus the copper crash when the stockpiles of copper were dumpped on the market that were leveraged 100 to 1.

They are in for a rude suprise when they find out how much those cows eat or they all die.

I laughed when I saw this and thought do Chileans like beef jerky? All of the jerky in stores of the northern empire now comes from China. Somehow in today's world it makes financial sense to send animals to China, feed them, slaughter them, process the meat, package the stuff, and ship it back across an ocean.

Tasty nuggets.

now i can post was having issues before. Venezuela is buying a LOT of dairy products from chile at the mo. as they are in such a hole they cant even produce their own milk. Just hope chile is asking for cash up front. Not like nz with the USSR n the 80s. When thw russians couldnt pay they tried to swap for arms such as tanks and ICBMs.
NZ declined the offer. I think we settled for Ladas, would of taken the tanks myself.

Are those special boats? I was wondering how they were sent. 7000 cows is a lot of pooping.

Just put 'cattle' and 'ship' in Google. Some of those things are huge.

Must have gone out one of the other ports as I'm sure this would have been in the local news if San Antonio.

its a lot of Hay for 7000 animals for 40 odd days. China just opened the market to let Chile export in July. Uraguay is also able to export. New Zealand has been doing for over a decade.
