Chinese warehouses are filled to the rafters and it looks like the spot price may be ready to swoon:

Who knows, we may see a 500 CLP exchange rate again.

cmon what r u afraid off. All USD in US banks are well insured. FDIC has a wopping 30 Bln in a piggy to cover mere 10 Tln in deposits. Nothing can go wrong here! Besides there is 7 Tln in 401K to tap into first.

I wonder how much of that 7 Tln has already been stolen through naked short selling?

I would be asking how much of that 7 Tln is already vested in US debt. Spain for example invested over 97% of all state pension funds in its debt. Wanna take bets on if state workers will see their pensions!?!?!?!??!

Pension, what's that? Many many years ago and for many years in a land long gone Empire, I gave at the corp-gov store and never expect to see a valuable cent in return.

401Ks? How many trillions in "social security" "retirement" funds have been pissed away by the government instead of being invested for future retirees?

Are you talking about the social security pyramid scheme?

Not like we had much choice in the matter. At least I stopped paying it after I left and became semi-retired more than 10 years ago.

Explore, please. There is probably an equally good case to be made for a price below USD 2.50.
