Check Libertad 160.
I lived on the corner of Huerfanos con Maipú for a while and thought it looked liked that general area. Plus there were always crews filming in the neighbouring houses, so I gave it a try. 3rd guess I got the right street...

Ha! That is funny, just covered the Oscar Nominee Luncheon on the 7th and the Director for Chile's entry was there, Sebastian Lelio was there----could have asked him!-----My guess is somewhere on the far (north side) of the Barrio Concha y Toro or nearby Quinta Normal-----or could be around the old US Embassy going towards the old Diego Portales area
Hey, you were pretty close thank you also for contributing.

Thank you very much, sir/mdm, for solving this riddle for me.
And go watch this great movie if you haven't seen it yet.

Marble door step, height correct.

White balustrade. Retrofitted "reja" in the window.

Signage juxtaposed with street lamp pole.

These days with CGI you're lucky to get that much reality in movies.

The original pic has at least 1200mm to the left of the door, new pic does not. The original pic has a doorway of at least a meter wide, new pic lucky to be 900mm. Doorstep in original pic is 2 steps for a total of about 300mm off the footpath, new pics is about an inch.
