The original pic has at least 1200mm to the left of the door, new pic does not. The original pic has a doorway of at least a meter wide, new pic lucky to be 900mm. Doorstep in original pic is 2 steps for a total of about 300mm off the footpath, new pics is about an inch.

Look at the pic at the start of this thread. Do you think that its "real" ?

The match is not to the first photo, but to the photo in page 2:

I would never watch normally this type of movie, Chilean or whatever, but this discussion has piqued my interest.
Perhaps we can now agree (whichever of the two pics are examined) that Libertad 160-ish is the place ????

No doubt about that, look at the graffitis left and right and/or look at the crack in the base of the house (sorry for my English) to the left of the door

looks like the original shot from the film was stretched and / or distorted; which sort of makes sense. Gives the shot a bit more of feel of 'long way to go'.

I still have not seen the movie, even though I have it recorded on my directTV box. Just have not had the time.

I dont usually watch this type of movie, but I finally got round to it this evening. The storyline is pretty mundane, but the multiple rejections provoked by the mainly passive presence of the eponymous Mujer Fantástica struck me as true to life. I suppose the idea is to make the filmgoing public aware of how difficult life can be for people who are "different".

However, in the same circumstances, even a truly female amante would enounter the same problems with the police and with the hostility and aggression of her -ex boyfriend's family, so its hard to understand the justification for the transgender aspect, other than to demonstrate that the same sad sh*t happens to all kinds of people.

A potentially interesting subplot with a mysterious key fizzles out, and there are a couple of touches of the hyper realism that no movie seems to be able to avoid these days.
A revelation of sorts does occur right at the end of the movie, but I wont spoil it except to say Daniela Vega briefly transcends the depressing events that have happened to her up till then.

Not my cup of tea at all, too much grey Chilean reality. I prefer this, as I watch movies for entertainment.

How did you get the movie? E.g. is it on Netflix, cable TV, you purchased it online somewhere?
