Looking for Network Engineers and Technicians

Greetings

Contingent is looking for techs who understand English and can perform given some of the following tasks:
• Site Survey
• Running cables to included the following: Cat5 and Coax
• Need to be able to install a computer, router, switch, modem and also uninstall of similar equipment
• Ability to extend a circuit
• Able to connect to router for onsite remote hands or able to reconfigure a router

Need to have basic IT cabling tools.
Techs should have a laptop and console cable to route into equipment.
All work is done on a job by job basis.

Send me an email with your skills, experience, certificates, education and agreeable pay rate.

Feel free to add anything else that is not covered in the above that you would believe could be useful to us.

Hours: by the job, travel pay also negotiated depending on transit.

Ha, if only chile was that simple!; hope this is not contingents plan in chile!

Please tell me you have some sort of management here!

Thanks for the heads up on the email address and yes this is our plan. If a company that operates with several techs applies we'll work with them. If a single tech applies we will work with him/her. I work with engineers and techs all over the world and we have had no major issues recruiting in this manner.

I was curious about where in Chile he was looking for network grunts. Santiago or in the boonies somewhere?

Good lucky anyway, you might find some expats with telco knowledge floating around, i suggest not hiring someone who doesn't understand chilean cultures and processes as well as chilean spanish if you want them to be a self starter!

and if you want to go down the chilean route, look for a established company as opposed to a one man band.. those one man bands are good until they want a unannounced holiday and decided to go away for a month (september, jan, feb), or decide they cant be bothered attending that priority 1 problem because there is a football game on!, It happens alot!

Repeating Chile is very special!
