I got here via admin SPAM. It was a link on the Chile Gringos Yahoo Group that brought me here. The rest is history whether the reactions have been hate or love. :alien:

Welcome back dude. Chile is living in interesting times. Only the strong with a reason will be here at the other end of this process.

Thanks!
I haven't been keeping up lately, except a bit on the recent protests. I'm sure a lot of water has gone under the bridge politically. Bachelet, Pinera, Bachelet.
As ever, hoping to make it back - because I had it right the first time. :D I regret almost everyday coming back to the USA.

:D
Thanks Charles.

I did remember it sorta.... I finally found an old notebook with various passwords etc. And since I write them down I use added letter(s) or number(s) as a misdirection security thing, in case someone gets a hold of it.

It had been so long I forgot which letter(s) or number(s) were fake.
Yeah, too much security.

I agree!!! Thanks to admin for creating an expat site that is unique, interesting and amazingly informative. Most expat sites exist only to sugar-coat reality and flip real estate. And then after alienating all the locals, the opportunistic site creators move to a different country and repeat.

One of the reasons I chose Chile almost 10 years ago was the candid, transparent reporting from people like admin, Gloria, patagoniax, and of course, too many to name, but all present here now. I did not want to know all the "good" things about a country. I wanted to know its problems, its shortcomings, its underbelly. Then I could make my decision about moving to that country.
