No problem with a Canadian phone I have used for the last 2 years.....the sim is on a monthly family plan.......the phone has not been registered in Chile.....
It's all about the wine.

Same here with an old unlocked USA AT&T phone but on a prepay plan with Movistar sometimes rotating a Virgin SIM in there from time to time and everything still works but given fraggle's experience, I wonder if it is only a matter of time before being forced to register.
