I don't see it as trolling? I understand that this is your forum but if you make sweeping statements, users should have a right to question them (if you have better things to do, simply don't reply).

You threat of a ban reminds me of kids playing football (soccer) when I was young "it's my ball, I'm going home".
Hey, that new extension works pretty good.

Generally, just a SPAM KILLER. You are on your own in this forum. My personal mission here is done.

BUT when necessary, by way of ridicule and truth revelation we shalt do war.

"users should have a right to question them..."

He thinks I am running some sort of government that imparts rights to people.

as stated clearly in my position on freedom of expression long ago:
viewtopic.php?f=2&t=7579#p86978

My new policy however, is I am no longer entertaining trolls in any form. If they start trolling early, 1000 post later, they will still be trolling and most of the posts will be troll posts fully of b.s.

My new gold standard for banning people, is if I have to question if I want to open my own forum because some users is making it a site I don't want to visit, I am getting rid of them sooner rather than later. As in it takes me 30 seconds to ban someone, and I have to spend more than 30 seconds to determine if someone is a troll, they are up to no good.

Every more or less active online community ends up with some "contra toda autoridad" folks trying to argue with mods/admins just because of their power. Eventually, someone gets banned and then if others are present, they start a long and repetitive discussion about moderators' morals and "double standards".

The Internet is a Groundhog Day in some way.
