Chile Visa

Post by hq1987 » Wed Mar 01, 2017 9:27 am

Hello,

I got offered an opportunity to teach English in Chile. I will be arriving on a tourist visa first then switch it to a work visa so that I can work and live legally in Chile.

My questions are:

1) Does anyone know the exact steps and timeline of the process (transferring tourist visa to work visa); i.e what needs to be done and how long it takes

2) What documents do I need to bring with me to Chile for the work visa besides my bachelors and masters degree (the institution informed me that I do not need to get my diplomas notarized/authenticated)

Thank you for your help in advance.
