Help me find a place for a Small Wedding

Post by DianeMLynch1 » Wed Oct 15, 2014 7:22 pm

I am planning a trip to Santiago in Mid March and am looking for a place that I can rent out for a party for (my son, wife (Chilean) and her family - about 90 members) to celebrate a wedding. Hopefully I can find one in Las Condes - I would like to have the party catered with hors d'oerves or canapés and with a small = medium size dance floor. Has anyone knowledge of a restaurant, museum or similar that I could contact?? That would have good food and Chilean Wine, and of course, Pisco Sours - Vitacura is not out of the question, but I would prefer Las Condes.

I don't want extravagant, but rather a nice venue that is comfortable for my Chilean family members to celebrate. Any help is much appreciated.

Gkad to be back in AllChile.net!! Diane

Google search "centro de eventos" along with the name of the neighborhood where you want it to be.

My selection, if It goes through is the Chilean Army Military Club in Vitacura.

That's a very nice place. I have been to receptions there.

The Army and AirForce Clubs did not work out. Can anyone suggest another venue for 75 people (family) that is not too formal? Any Help is appreciated

Two places where I know they do receptions, but both are restaurants, Maison de France in Las Condes and Divertimento at the foot of San Cristobal hill at the Pedro de Valdivia entrance. Both have gardens and good food.
