PDI background check after leaving Chile

Post by BillytCO » Fri May 01, 2020 6:57 pm

Hi. I was recently working and living in Chile with a RUT. I need a background check from PDI in order to get a job with the USPS in the U.S. Is this possible? What is the process? My Spanish is limited. Thanks.

Background checks are normally issued by the Civil Registry here. They are called "certificado de antecedentes." If the PDI issues their own version of them, that's news to me.

I was assuming it was PDi. Wrong assumption. Thank you.
