seems prices settled down after the first 20 lots or so in to something more reasonable. it is like the property "tourist" loose interest and leave after first 30 mins or something.

really i have no personal interest, beyond just market / economy info of anything north of the bio bio river. I am waiting for the action down south.

I am especially interested this year and being direct in the middle of the vacation season to see if a bunch people go fishing for something down south.

Holy crap, I have a 280 m2 apt in Providencia that I thought might be worth about that.
And I was worried that with the riots it might even be worth much less.
What is going on with the market there?

nice looking house in punta arenas, with good action, 158 million

little too far south for my taste, but nice area.

I am thinking people would rather hold their money in real estate, than anywhere else. it is sort of default move for Chileans. but they also just might be stupid.

Haha, that lot in puyehue went for 15.5 million. last auction couple lots there sold for 14 million.

I own two hectares walking distance down the road from them.

a guy bought one of those lots in chillian for 8 million. they then ran the auction again for the other lots. they crossed 8.5 million

the auctioneer stoped and said to the other guy, "look you already made 500,000".

well that was fun. not sure i can draw any overall conclusions from that. the prices and action was all over the place; but, from past years watching, that is not unusual for summer vacation season or holidays.

cars auction tomorrow.
