mailing to US from Villarrica

Post by gardengal64 » Thu May 27, 2021 8:41 am

Greetings! I was wondering if anyone knows where/how to mail something to the US from Villarrica as quickly as possible? FedEX or DHL for instance.

Just go to chilexpress. They can give you a tracking number. That is what I have done in the past.

If it is important, DHL.

Thank you for your help. Does Chilexpress offer DHL?

No you'd have to go to dhl in temuco unless there is one in villarrica. Its ymmv, have had problems with all the carriers. I send stuff to the IRS with chileexpress as ita location is closest to me. Only other close option is correos

I understand that FEDEX is at the other end if you use Chilexpress to the Empire?

Should be UPS for Chilexpress, but partner's tracking numbers in such partnerships are sometimes really problematic to find (though they of course exist). When living in the area, I used simply correos (from Temuco), back then they had 3 price ranges to send docs to the states, the first two (cheapest) were traceable using correos/USPS system (like "registered" mail), but the third, about $30.ooo CLP to send an envelope, was through either UPS or FedEx (the partners' tracking number was not possible to obtain through correos). I would go DHL for anything critical.

Thank you to all! I am still new to the area and haven't learned Spanish yet although I am beginning to understand some of what I hear so this complicates things a bit when I'm out trying to get things done.

The lines I see at the Chilexpress are daunting! I wonder if there is a "quiet" time of the day? Me dreaming, right?
I have been receiving FedEx packages through TNT Express but it is my understanding that one can't send FedEX from this location in Villarrica?

Thanks and Blessings,
