yea, the administration has screwed-up the response to what is going on in the 9th region from start to finish doing their classic stick their head in the sand.

It is like they don't understand it, so they are just going to pretend it is not happening.

Not just this government but all previous ones going back to Alwyn. It has become a much bigger problem year by year.

Thanks. I filled it out. I have a lot of respect for the carabineros. They have been left to hang out to dry by too many idiot politicians and members of the public.

It’s interesting, but I guess not surprising, there has been no mention of this in any news in English outside of Chile.
I get a google alerts email that arrives in my email about 10pm every night with English news reports about Chile.

Whenever an officer is convicted of something or suspected of something or a protestor has a story about police brutality there it is (and normally syndicated across several publications), but when something like this happens , the silence is deafening.

Ah well should be used to it now, the lamestream media with the progressive journalists who normally have a single simplistic answer for anything that happens here is nothing new.

I filled it in. Cops and firemen have always been my heroes, putting their lives at stake for total strangers.
