Nice, I was wondering how can I legally drive to Santiago to pick a police record from my consulate. It will be a long drive but I'd rather stay in a car for eight hours than be crammed in the tiny Valdivian airport, and then on a plane for a couple of hours in total.

I gotta funny feeling we going to go back to lockdowns and definitely into a reversal of paso a paso in about 3 or 4 months, maybe less, just look at Europe at the moment.

To all the forumites Santo Domingo to Algarrobo:

5 am tomorrow, 25 September, the cordon sanitario converts to an aduanas sanitario meaning those in Santo Domingo to Algarrobo can finally shop at the HiperLider and Tottus San Antonio. Me, personally, I'm glad I did my Lider run today...
Que será, será.

And Puerto Montt continues with over two months in Quarantine the cases have gone up again last week. Osorno back into Quarantine too. Its going to keep going like this for a long time yet. Somehow people seem to think school will magically return next year, but the same issues will still be affecting the country and after a Sunmer spreading around the country, who knows what things will be like, I dont think there is any hope for a return to school next year either, what will be different that is different to today?

It felt like this was coming. Last Saturday the feria in Osorno was quite crowded, and they have been pushing the PCR tests all week.

They delayed the listing (that is usually issued on Wednesdays):

{comunas going back} https://www.biobiochile.cl/noticias/nac ... d-19.shtml

{comunas going forward} https://www.biobiochile.cl/noticias/nac ... paso.shtml

Soon to be 4 months of the total "cuarentina" here in Valpo. And this is not going to end at all (unless the "unbelievers" magically outnumber the "believers"). The Viña muni budget is going negative (the casino is not going to pay unless the quarantine is lifted). The biggies like La Polar or Paris stay all closed for 4 months. Is there not enough financial pressure from all these "families" ruling the country to stop all of this?.. I am clueless.

The advances, going forward, are all old news , 3 September and 5 September. Did they get the dates wrong?

I am not even remotely surprised that frutillar got quarantined.

Last Saturday i go in to town. There was a sanitary barrier along the lake. About 200 meters before the paco is a beach. 20 cars, dozens of people.

On the other side of the paco about 200 meters is another beach. Also filled with people.

Cases were steadily climbing, yet they started opening restraunts. Kids everywhere with no masks. Etc, etc.

Now everyone in town is pissed off about it. Good.
