In Step 2 yes you can travel between Step 2 comunas in the same region with no need for a permiso Monday through Friday exception the hours of curfew. Saturday, you would need to get the permiso for banking and do everything within three hours.
Thanks. I didn't see anything prohibiting it, but nothing allowing it either.

There is a new comisariavirtual.cl tramite for this:

https://cmv.interior.gob.cl/ingreso
Permiso Temporal Traslado Interregional

But it says it is for 24 hours.
Estimado usuario:
Correct, but it is unlimited and also can be used for overnight stays, as far as I can tell from the official documentation.

From Friday, October 9 to October 12, a sanitary cordon will be implemented in Greater Valparaíso, an area that includes the communes of Valparaíso, Viña del Mar, Concón, Quilpué, Villa Alemana, this with the aim of preventing the transit of people through these communes during the long weekend.

The governor of the province of Valparaíso, Gonzalo Ledantec, explained that the temporary and interregional permits shall not be used to pass through the sanitary cordon that will be implemented in different areas of the regional territory.

...take into account the presence of the sanitary cordons, because this control cannot be passed with interregional permits.

The regional authority urged that people who live in Greater Valparaíso and need to move between the communes of the province where the cordon will be installed, do so before Friday at 6:00 p.m. because after that they will not be able to do so.

October 12 will be the last day of quarantine for Viña del Mar and Valparaíso, though. Both cities (and a few others) will move to step 2 ("transición") starting on October 13:

Particularly with the recent changes for phase 1...

If a person is in a phase 1 comuna, during the week during daytime hours, and needs to drive to a neighboring comuna in the same region that is also in phase 1, for critical service...is the comisariavirtual permiso all that is needed still? Or is c19.cl required as well even with no sanitary cordons in play?

I just saw the legislator in providencia got courtesy arrested for not having the right germ permit (or one at all) nor the permiso de circulation (expired 10 days ago)
